DEPUTY Minister of International Relations and Co-operation Marius Fransman says the government has not been leant on by China to deny the Dalai Lama a visa, but has been put under pressure from other quarters to speed up the process of granting it.
"There's no pressure put on South Africa on this matter. The application was received, it's going through the processes," said Fransman.
