DELAYED CALL LED TO DEATH, POLICE SAY.(CAPITAL REGION)

ALBANY -- A 34-year-old city man was accused of criminally negligent homicide Saturday because he allegedly waited for two hours before seeking medical help for an unconscious man while trying to rid his residence of drug-related evidence, police said.

At about 2 a.m., Nathaniel Clark called an ambulance to his first-floor apartment at 1237 Broadway, where Albany Fire Department emergency medical service personnel found the man, who appeared to be dead.
