Two British teenagers arrested in Ghana for allegedly carryingcocaine worth pounds300,000 have claimed they were unwittingly setup.
The 16-year-old girls have been "provisionally charged" after theywere arrested on July 2 at Accra airport as they attempted to board aBritish Airways flight to London.
Police identified the two as Yasemin Vatansever, the London-borndaughter of immigrants from Cyprus, and Yatunde Diya, a Britishcitizen of Nigerian descent, said Mark Ewuntomah, a spokesman for theGhana Narcotics Control Board.
Yasemin said she and her friend were tricked into carrying drugsto London.
